You CANNOT use the bp path that you find on the ark.gamepedia.com page and most likely cannot use the bp path you find on steam mod pages cause they are path for spawning items "in your inventory". you NEED the bp path of the "in the game world" item. they are two completely separate bp paths...

it should work, the pipes have an awkward hit box location. try single player and use cheat gcm. you can get the class name for the ingame item that was as well.
depends on the creature i guess and what the player is breeding for. on some creatures weight is a pointless stat, while stamina is a pointless stat on other and then some creatures food is important. if this was added could you let it be configurable which stats were added.

you can use the admin blink rifle to get an items class name while in game. just put it in the inspect mode. you can put it in destroy mode also but inspect mode is better.
that is an expected response from the plugin and from RCON in general with a lot of commands. doesnt mean it ran the command but it also doesnt mean it didnt run the command. you can verify it is functioning by starting up a map and go stand near a nest and time the plugin to run the command...
if you use s+ and you are fine with using only s+ beehives you can try using the structures limit plugin as a helper tool. If you ONLY use it for this purpose you can edit the reachlimit notification to word it so they know why its blocked. an example of the config is below:
